- Ballet Academy is closed Saturday, 5/24 & Monday, 5/26.
- Tap is moving to Tuesdays, 5:15-6:15 on May 27. Classes will continue on Tuesdays through June (June 3, June 10, June 17 and June 24). Teen and adult Newcomers are invited to try the class.

- Hober Merit Scholarships Available for the Summer Workshops. Anyone who wants to attend may apply.
- Summer Workshops Offered Full day workshops - $225 per week, if paid by 3/1/08. $250 per week after 3/1/08, $25 off 2nd workshop, or 2nd child Half Day workshop (5 day) - $70 per week, if paid by 3/1/08. $80 per week after 3/1/08
- Intensive I, Choreographic Workshop (grades 6 & up) - June 23-27; 9:30-3:00 (Fridays, 2:30-3:00 performance)
- Youth Division I - rising 2nd graders through 5th, July 7-11, (Fridays, 2:30-3:00 performance)

PARC Announces The Charles Hober Family Scholarship
Thanks to the generous contribution of Sandy Giersch, the Performing Arts Repertory Company is pleased to announce a fall 2006 scholarship of $250 payable towards dance classes at the Ballet Academy. The Charles Hober Family Scholarship will be awarded to a student currently enrolled at the Ballet Academy, age 5-21, on the basis of commitment and love of ballet. A letter of interest for consideration must be submitted to the PARC board between August 1, 2006 and September 1, 2006. This can be done via email to Alison at alison@performingarc.org or Eliane at larduie@gmail.com or a note in writing to Eliane Larduinat c/o PARC, 3060 Mozart Dr. Silver Spring, MD 20904- 6800. The recipient will be selected by the PARC Board of Directors. This is a restricted scholarship bound by the terms set forth by the benefactor. PARC does not discriminate on the basis of color, gender, race or religion.
PARC Scholarship Opportunity
The Hober Scholarship is offering three, $100 scholarships towards Ballet Academy classes to any student registered for more than 1 class per week for the 2007-2008 Ballet Academy fall/spring semesters. Anyone who is registered for at least 1 class a week may apply. If a student has already registered and paid, the scholarship will be credited towards their spring tuition. Total tuition may take all allowable discounts and the full scholarship amount will be rewarded.
To Apply:
- Applicant must be registered for 1 class per week.
- Applicant must submit a hand-written letter to The Hober Scholarship Committee, 10820-H Rhode Island Ave. Beltsville, MD 20705 by September 4, 2007, stating: a.) Name, Address, phone, registered fall 2007 class(es) b.) "What could you gain by taking ballet more than one class per week"
This scholarship is open to anyone registered for at least 1 class per week at the Ballet Academy.
